A pregnant woman, seven months along, sought advice from OB-GYN Dr. Su Yin-ning as her home temperature rose to 32 degrees Celsius while the older generation criticized her for wanting to use the air conditioner, citing their own experiences of working until birth without it. Dr. Su responded assertively, stating, 'If your baby dies, you don't need to live.' The woman questioned how to communicate with older relatives about heat exposure during pregnancy, to which Dr. Su advised her to return to work for air conditioning and questioned the value of discussing scientific literature with such unreasonable individuals.
