Premier Inspects National Highways on the First Day of Dragon Boat Festival Holiday, Urges to Shorten Construction Time to Alleviate Daily Traffic Jams in Zhubei Section

On the first day of the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, estimated to have 11.8 million car kilometers on the national highways, Premier Su Tseng-chang visited the Traffic Control Center this morning to check the road conditions. He encouraged the public to use public transportation more and pointed out the persistent traffic congestion in the Zhubei section, planning to build an elevated section there to address the issue. The long-term goal is to resolve traffic problems and use more AI applications in the government and public sectors for the benefit of the people. During the holiday, there will be increased train and bus services to alleviate traffic congestion.
