This article reports that Taiwan's Premier Su Tseng-chang visited the site of the Triple Gas Project in Guanyin District, Taoyuan City, with CPC Chairman Li Chun-ching, who expressed confidence in meeting the goal of the initial gas supply after the trial run by the end of March next year. The project is currently ahead of schedule by 2.63 percentage points. The Economic Affairs Deputy Minister expects the project to meet its goal, which would stabilize power supply in northern Taiwan and strengthen the resilience of the power grid in Taipei and Taoyuan areas. Once completed, the project will reduce air pollution and cut 9 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually, equivalent to the carbon fixed in 23,000 Daan Forest Parks. Originally scheduled to be completed by the end of 2022, it has been delayed to 2025 due to budget increases and adjustments made in response to a public referendum.
