Premier Su Tseng-chang responded at the Legislative Yuan regarding the amendment to the Legislative Yuan Exercise of Rights Act, where it requires the president to give a 'regular' State of the Nation address. Su pointed out that the term 'regular' would hinder the president's daily duties and the requirement to 'respond promptly in order' is more of a 'questioning' nature. He emphasized that the questioning rights of a general administrative chief in a legislative body should not be imposed on the president. The Executive Yuan found the Act full of obstacles and requested a reconsideration, leading to debates and questioning at the Legislative Yuan.
