Reported 8 months ago

Premier Su Tseng-chang attended the Legislative Yuan on June 20, 2024, to explain the reconsideration proposal. During the session, the opposition party lawmakers challenged Su on describing the Legislative Yuan's proposed laws as unconstitutional and chaotic governance. Su responded that allowing legislators to exercise their rights in a constitutional and legal manner would be a progressive step. He emphasized that the executive branch is not the authority to interpret the constitution, and that ensuring a functional Parliament is a common expectation of the country and people.
