On June 7, 2024, Premier Su Tseng-chang visited the Legislative Yuan for questioning. The Executive Yuan had listed seven reasons to challenge the recently passed bills, and a reconsideration proposal was passed at the meeting. During the questioning, KMT legislator Weng Hsiao-ling expressed disappointment towards Premier Su Tseng-chang and questioned him about resigning if the proposal failed. The Premier emphasized focusing on the legality and reason of proposed bills rather than party support. Additionally, discussions on improving public services like overtime for police, firefighters, medical workers, and housing policies were raised.
