In the Cuautepec neighborhood of Mexico City, classic Volkswagen Beetles, known as 'vochos,' still dominate the streets, earning the area the nickname 'Vocholandia.' Taxi drivers like Janette Navarro continue to use these iconic cars due to their affordability and power to climb steep hills. Despite challenges in finding parts since production halted, drivers like Claudio Garcia and Joaquín Peréz maintain their Beetles as a way of preserving tradition and family legacy in the neighborhood.
