PwC's report reveals that 33% of employees in Taiwan feel their workload has significantly increased in the past year, with 17% finding it frequently overwhelming, and 18% considering a job change within a year. Despite having leftover funds after necessary expenses, 40% face financial pressure. The report, based on 500 respondents in Taiwan, indicates that employees are embracing AI and prioritizing skill enhancement for long-term career development amid increased workload and rapid transformations in the workplace. Among other findings, over half of those considering leaving their jobs in Taiwan cite the opportunity to learn new skills as a key factor, and 90% of those using generative AI anticipate improved work efficiency within a year, with 36% expecting salary increases.
