Due to the active development of convective cloud systems in the afternoon, there is a high chance of short-duration heavy rain across Taiwan. At 2:05 PM on June 26, the Central Weather Bureau issued a heavy rain alert for 11 counties and cities, including areas from Chiayi northward, Kaohsiung, Yilan, and mountainous areas of Hualien. Yilan County has raised a national warning until 3:30 PM, warning of thunderstorms, strong gusts, landslides, rockfalls, flash floods in mountainous regions, and waterlogging in low-lying areas.
