A Florida fishing guide, William Delph, caught a rare Yellowfin Grouper and shared the experience on Instagram, mentioning that a portion of the catch was claimed by a shark, often referred to as the 'tax man' in the fishing world. The yellowfin grouper is known for its bright yellow pectoral fins and is a rare catch in Florida waters. Delph did not provide a weight for the fish caught at Dry Tortugas, but the Florida record stands at 34 pounds, 6 ounces, and the world record at 47 pounds. The grouper typically preys on smaller fish and squid near offshore reefs.
