In the first half of the year, the number of presale housing projects in the six major cities in Taiwan decreased slightly by 3.6% compared to the same period last year. Despite the high construction costs, developers like Lai Cheng-yi are optimistic about the market due to the expected relaxation of restrictions on Taiwanese capital returning to Taiwan in August. The demand for presale projects and new commercial office buildings is expected to increase, with a positive outlook for the real estate market in the next 3 years.
