In response to the reconsideration of the parliamentary reform bill, Lai Ching-te urges both the ruling and opposition parties to rethink their positions. The bill on parliamentary reforms was passed in the third reading with the support of both the blue and white camps. The executive branch has initiated a reconsideration process, which has been approved by the president and will be voted on in the legislative yuan on the 21st. Lai Ching-te emphasized during the party meeting that the reconsideration offers a chance for cross-party reflection within constitutional bounds, calling for substantive discussions to take place.
