Reported 12 months ago

In the midst of severe rainstorms in southern China, Hunan issued its first red rainstorm warning this year. In Lixian County, Changde City, a flash flood broke out, causing a restaurant owner to urgently warn passersby as muddy waters flooded into the village. Video footage showed the flood rushing in, and the restaurant owner's shouts alerted unaware villagers to the danger. Other regions like Guizhou were also affected by heavy rainfall, with record-high flood peaks causing flooding in towns and damage to properties. Authorities are conducting rescue operations in the affected areas.
