Democratic Progressive Party founding member and former national representative Huang Zhao-kai passed away on June 1st, with a memorial service scheduled on the 15th in Tainan. Lin Yi-jin, a DPP legislator who knew Huang for thirty years, shared memories on a radio program, highlighting Huang's active participation in politics through radio appearances, consistent presence on democracy and freedom-related commemorative days, and co-working with Lai Ching-te.
