Actresses Huang Hsin-ying and Ruby Lin visited the wake of Qiu Li Kuan's late mother to pay their respects, with Ko Yi-ping disclosing Qiu's nurturing care towards herself. Qiu Li Kuan, a well-known figure in the entertainment industry, had her mother pass away at the age of 93. The memorial service, now on its 4th day, saw attendees such as Ko Yi-ping offering condolences, while Huang and Lin dressed in plain colors spent nearly 30 minutes there. Lin Xilei, who starred in the movie 'Father and Son' with Aaron Kwok in 2006, was a close friend of Qiu Li Kuan, who produced the film. Huang and Lin remained low-key and focused on expressing their care for Qiu Li Kuan during their visit.
