The Houston Texans are extending wide receiver Nico Collins' contract for $72 million over three years, with a maximum value of $75 million and a guaranteed $52 million. Collins, 25, had an impressive season in 2023, recording 80 catches for 1,297 yards and eight touchdowns. His performance alongside quarterback C.J. Stroud, who won NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, helped the Texans secure an AFC South title and their first playoff berth since 2019. The team has also acquired Stefon Diggs and Joe Mixon in the offseason to bolster their offensive lineup. Collins' new deal secures his services through the 2027 season, reflecting the team's high expectations for the upcoming seasons.
