In the midst of moving rapidly through the jungle, various country's military personnel are swiftly deploying to designated locations, emphasizing the importance of land training in addition to sea operations during the 2024 Rim of the Pacific Exercise (RIMPAC). The U.S. Marine Corps personnel are personally conducting training exercises, such as teaching Indonesian officials about new U.S. tactical warfare and teamwork strategies. With a total of 29 countries participating in the RIMPAC this year, each country's training methods and environments vary greatly. The U.S. military is sharing urban combat rules during the exercise, promoting mutual exchange. In the waters surrounding Hawaii, retired U.S. military personnel collaborate with the U.S. National Guard and the Coast Guard for a three-week training session focused on helicopter rescue operations. Utilizing their military experience, these retired U.S. military members conduct helicopter rescue operations, aiming to safely extract and parachute personnel out of the aircraft.
