Since President Lai Ching-te took office, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has continued to infiltrate and aggress against Taiwan through gray zone strategies. National security personnel have identified three specific strategies employed by the CCP in recent weeks: spreading Simplified Chinese leaflets in Kinmen using drones, incursions of small red ships into Tamsui Harbor, and increasing non-military conflicts using coast guard ships. These actions aim to gradually change the status quo in the Taiwan Strait, with the CCP forming fleets composed of civilian ships to potentially invade Taiwan, showcasing a new form of psychological warfare and the necessity for the public to be aware of such tactics.
