Reported 9 months ago

The Central Weather Bureau issued a heat warning for most of Taiwan except for Hsinchu City as temperatures soared in late June, with 563 people seeking medical treatment for heat-related issues by June 26, surpassing the total for the entire month of June last year. The public is advised to remember the 'cool, hydrate, self-care' mantra to combat the extreme heat, with the Ministry of Health and Welfare urging caution during outdoor activities and emphasizing the importance of staying hydrated and cool to prevent heat-related illnesses.
