Russia Prepared to Export Gas to Europe Through Multiple Routes, According to Novak

Reported 1 day ago

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak has stated that the country is ready to continue gas exports to Europe through various routes, especially as the contract for transit via Ukraine nears its end. He indicated that although much of Europe is reducing reliance on Russian gas, the decision on future gas transportation lies with Ukraine and the European Union. Concerns are rising for countries like Slovakia that depend on Gazprom, especially with cold weather forecasts increasing demand. Russia currently exports gas via Ukraine, the TurkStream pipeline, and LNG tankers, with a total of over 50 billion cubic meters exported to Europe in the first eleven months of this year.
