Senvion Energy's subsidiary in Singapore, Baowei Maritime Engineering, successfully brought the 4,000-ton heavy lift vessel 'Hercules' to Taiwan on June 22, 2024, to start work on offshore wind power projects. With the goal of having thousands of wind turbines at sea in Taiwan in the future, Senvion Energy sees promising opportunities for operation and maintenance in the industry. The company marked a significant milestone with the commencement of maritime engineering operations for Taiwan Power Company's 294.5MW offshore wind power project, which is expected to provide green electricity equivalent to the consumption of nearly 240,000 households annually, reducing carbon emissions by around 500,000 tons per year.
