On July 2, 2024, at 10:57 am, a serious accident occurred at the Madou Roundabout in Madou District, Tainan City. A cement truck collided with a small car, resulting in the car's front end being completely damaged. The car driver was injured and covered in blood, requiring emergency assistance from the fire department to rescue and transport the driver to Madou Xinzhu Hospital for treatment. The exact cause of the accident is under investigation by the police.
