Reported 8 months ago

In Changhua, a junior high school fell victim to a scam where fraudsters posed as the school's principal and placed a fake order at a music store, initially for a piano and two guitars, and then requested the shop to help purchase canned beef. The shop owner sensed something was wrong, confirmed with the school, and realized it was a scam. The authorities cautioned businesses to be wary of such fraudulent schemes exploiting events like graduation ceremonies and university welcome activities.
