Siemens Energy, the leading global manufacturer of offshore wind turbines, reported a preliminary first-quarter revenue of approximately 8.94 billion euros ($9.37 billion), reflecting an 18.4% increase year-on-year and slightly exceeding expectations. The company saw a preliminary profit of 463 million euros for the quarter despite challenges from quality issues in 2023 that previously led to significant losses and reliance on state support. Siemens Energy continues to strengthen its order book with preliminary order intake figures at 13.67 billion euros, while its Gamesa division reported a revenue of 2.42 billion euros and a significant loss before special items.
