Foreign smartphone sales in China experienced a dramatic 44.25% decrease year-on-year in October, with sales dropping to 6.22 million units from 11.149 million the previous year. This decline primarily affected brands like Apple, which despite releasing the iPhone 16 series, faced challenges such as delayed AI features for the Chinese market. In contrast, overall smartphone sales in China rose by 1.8% to 29.67 million units.
