The signing ceremony for the Left Camp High-Speed Rail Technology Hub public urban renewal project (Business Zone A and B) was held at the Hanlai Hotel in Kaohsiung on June 27, 2024. With the aim of developing the S Technology Corridor and creating a new gateway in North Kaohsiung, Deputy Mayor Lin Qinrong and Lin Zikuan, Chairman of Guo Yang Industrial Co., Ltd., signed the contract to kickstart the project. This initiative aligns with Mayor Chen Chi-mai's directive to accelerate industrial transformation in the region and complements the central government's policies. The project aims at revitalizing the area and providing high-quality Grade A office spaces for industries. Through this development, Kaohsiung City hopes to create a quality work and living environment in North Kaohsiung and attract more semiconductor industries and innovation talents to the city, thus driving industrial transformation and development in Kaohsiung.
