SingTel announced a 22% rise in its third-quarter underlying net profit, reaching S$680 million, driven by strong performance from its Australian telecom unit Optus and India's Bharti Airtel. Optus generated S$1.86 billion in revenue, a 3% increase, while Airtel saw significant profit growth. The company remains optimistic about growth in Asia's digital landscape and plans to distribute a dividend of approximately 16.5 Singapore cents per share.
