On the evening of June 10, 2024, a 20-year-old soldier surnamed Huang from the Coast Guard's Eastern Division in Taiwan is suspected to have been electrocuted while showering in the dormitory bathroom, causing him to collapse and lose consciousness. The quick response of emergency personnel administering CPR and electric shocks helped him regain vital signs. Initial investigations suggest a circuit breaker malfunction led to the electric leakage. The soldier was rushed to the hospital with an apparent electrocution wound on his chest but was successfully revived thanks to the prompt medical intervention.
