On June 16, 2024, Sun Anzuo and his agent were seen carrying a 'gas gun' in the Xinyi District. The Xinyi Police Station stated they will summon the agent to explain and examine the firearm. They might also call Sun Anzuo for questioning to determine if there was a violation of weapon control laws. Sun Anzuo, who is known for his military weapon interest, has a history of firearm-related incidents, from being deported from the US for possessing numerous firearms and ammunition to almost being expelled from university in Taiwan for playing with guns. The recent incident involved him and his agent bringing a gas gun to a nightclub area, causing a commotion until being stopped by the agent.
