As of June 19, 2024, the water storage rate of South Hua Reservoir has reached 97.66%, nearing full capacity. The reverse water transfer project from Zengwen-Wushantou to South Hua Reservoir is close to completion and is expected to finish pipe connections and water filling by the end of June. This transfer will increase the flexibility of water resource management in the southern region. South Hua Reservoir currently holds 97.66% of water, while Zengwen-Wushantou Reservoir system stands at 53.94%. The new connection would allow for better water distribution and usage.
