Southern Regions to Face 3 Consecutive Days of Rainfall with Southwest Winds Carrying Moisture, High Temperature Warning Likely to Exceed 36 Degrees

Reported 7 months ago

Due to the influence of southwest winds, the southern regions will experience brief showers or thunderstorms, with a high likelihood of scattered heavy rain and continuous wet weather lasting until Sunday. Meanwhile, the northern and eastern regions are advised to be wary of extreme temperatures exceeding 36 degrees. The Central Weather Bureau has issued high-temperature alerts for 4 counties and cities, with Hualien County in particular facing a probability of continuous 36-degree heat. As southwest winds bring hot weather, the trend is expected to continue until the conversion to southerly winds next Monday, gradually reducing rainfall and thunderstorm intensity across the country.
