Southern Taiwan to Expect Short Rainfall while Extreme Heat Strikes Northeast, Possible Spikes of 36℃

Reported 7 months ago

Over the next two days in southern Taiwan, there will be brief showers or thunderstorms due to the southwest wind influence, as well as in central, Miaoli, Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu areas. Other regions will be mostly cloudy to clear, with chances of local brief thunderstorms in Greater Taipei, eastern areas, and mountainous regions during the afternoon. There's a likelihood of localized heavy rain in the south and various mountainous areas in the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to reach 32-35 degrees, peaking at around 36 degrees in some areas, urging caution for potential heatwaves. Analysts predict a similar weather pattern continuing into the weekend with decreasing rainfall tendencies and a focus on extreme heat in the north and east.
