Stellantis Reports Significant Shipment Decline Amid US Inventory Clearance

Stellantis, the parent company of Jeep and Chrysler, experienced a significant drop in shipments in the fourth quarter as it aimed to reduce its U.S. inventory by 80,000 units. Overall shipments fell 9% to 1.4 million, with North America seeing a 28% decline year-over-year. South America was the only region to report an increase, with a 12% rise in shipments due to stronger industry demand. Stellantis shares have also seen a notable decline, losing over 40% of their value in the past year.
