During a performance at a mall in New Taipei City, street performer and diabolo artist Yang Yuanqing was interrupted twice by building management and asked to lower the volume, which led to Yang feeling disrespected. When he decided to cancel the performance, the management responded with a comment implying that he was there for a 'free meal,' further aggravating the situation. The mall has since issued an apology and promised to improve communication and respect for artists in the future.
