A man in Taichung, Taiwan, referred to as Ah Guo, who divorced and suffered a stroke, unable to work, asked for 12,000 yuan per month from each of his daughters as maintenance fees. The daughters explained that their father left home when they were young, giving no care, and since becoming adults, he only asks for money. They wish to leave the money to their mother and are unaware of their father's financial situation, making it inconvenient to handle his real estate. The court found that Ah Guo has the financial ability to support himself and rejected his claim for support fees.
