Successful high school in Taipei City forced to change classrooms with 500 students due to noise from 'Blue Hawk' political action

Reported 10 months ago

At the Legislative Yuan, the 'Blue Hawk' action was launched by the Kuomintang party to support their members inside the voting hall during the vote on the parliamentary rights revision bill. The noise from the adjacent demonstration affected classes at a nearby high school, leading to approximately 500 students being moved to different classrooms after the school requested them to 'endure a bit' and not having their concerns addressed by the Education Bureau. The noise disturbance caused by the political activities was a result of the vote on the bill, with the KMT supporters and opposing groups gathering outside the Legislative Yuan. Despite efforts by the school principal and the Education Bureau to mitigate the noise impact, the students had to bear the consequences of the situation.
