Reported 8 months ago

Amidst the resurgence of COVID-19, a significant number of patients with sore throats are testing positive, with 30 to 40% being diagnosed with COVID-19, mainly exhibiting mild symptoms. The spread is attributed to the strong infectious nature of the KP.3 variant, surpassing KP.2 with a 33.1% rate. Experts anticipate the peak of this sixth wave to occur between July and August. Hospitals are managing the situation by admitting patients based on their condition, emphasizing the need for vigilance among the public despite most cases being mild.
