In a collaboration with the Taiwan Long Trail Association, NUST organized a three-day handmade trail workshop starting from June 16th, where 14 NUST students led by Professor Xiao Boqian from the Construction Department went to the Old Jia Ping Tribe in Taiwu Township, Pingtung County, to learn traditional stone step trail construction techniques. The students gained hands-on experience in traditional masonry and trail construction, expanding their skills and practicing social responsibility. This project aims to prepare them for the upcoming revitalization project in Pisang, Nepal, by incorporating sustainable design into nature and culture.
