Sun Anzuo and his manager Zhu were reported to be seen carrying a self-made gun in the Xinyi District at a nightclub earlier. Zhu emphasized during his visit to the Xinyi Police Station that the gun was harmless and meant for BBQ purposes, stating they are not foolish to carry a dangerous weapon around. However, Sun Anzuo did not personally go to the police station due to feeling pressured, with plans to showcase the gun at a charity event in August. The incident stirred controversy as it followed Sun's recent involvement in a marijuana scandal in Thailand and family disputes upon returning to Taiwan.
