The son of entertainers Sun Peng and Di Ying, Sunny Wang, who was previously rumored to have used marijuana in Thailand in May, was recently seen at a nightclub in Xinyi District. However, his manager was suspected of carrying a gas gun, potentially violating firearms control laws. Police monitored the situation and will summon the manager for questioning and inspect the ‘gas gun,’ with the possibility of summoning Sunny Wang for clarification. Wang’s manager had posted about their outing beforehand, and despite public attention, no evidence of the gas gun being displayed was found. Wang himself was seen interacting with fans and is reportedly developing weapons for an upcoming event, according to his manager. Police are investigating to determine if any laws were broken.
