Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone impressed at the USATF New York City Grand Prix by running the third-fastest 400m in American track and field history, finishing in 48.75 seconds, just shy of the American record. Despite being the fastest woman in the current Olympic cycle in the event, McLaughlin-Levrone plans to focus on the 400m hurdles at the Olympic Trials while also showcasing her skills in other sprint events to prepare for the upcoming competitions.
