On June 17, 2024, Taichung councilors led local teams to film a promotional video for gift vouchers. The video, featuring Mayor Lu Shiow-Yen and 16 city councilors from various parties, aims to promote the '2024 First Wave Gift Vouchers' event organized by the Economic Development Bureau from June 20 to 22. Over 500 participants were mobilized for the filming, showcasing the mayor and councilors in a lively and relatable manner to encourage citizens to exchange vouchers at 107 venues across the city. The councilors expressed their enthusiasm for the event, recognizing gift vouchers as a driver for boosting local economies among various demographics.
