Reported 7 months ago

At 71 years old, Chen Zhongxin has been making qipaos for nearly 60 years, handling over ten thousand of them. As the second-generation owner of the old shop Yu Feng Qipao on Dihua Street in Taipei, he faced challenges with the decline of custom-made qipaos until receiving orders for movie costumes, which helped sustain his business. Transitioning to high-end custom designs, he continues the legacy in the shop by creating beautiful qipaos. Chen also invests in reviving Hakka culture by sewing traditional Eight Generals clothing, representing his commitment to preserving local heritage.
