The Disaster Prevention and Rescue Office of Taipei City and the Disaster Response Center of Taipei City held a seminar titled 'Taiwan-Japan Disaster Prevention Policy Enhancement Seminar,' inviting various government agencies, experts, and scholars to discuss strategies to reduce the impact of large-scale earthquakes on urban areas, drawing lessons from the Noto Peninsula earthquake in Japan and the earthquake in Hualien, Taiwan earlier this year. Three Japanese experts shared their experiences and insights on disaster prevention and recovery, aiming to enhance Taipei's disaster response capabilities and resilience to earthquakes.
