According to Taiwan Railway's revenue report from January to May, it has already reached 13.225 billion NTD, a 4.9% increase from the same period last year. Due to increased operations, the company plans to adjust ticket prices as without it, they will incur losses for each trip. They are considering a potential maximum increase of up to 50%. Meanwhile, airlines also plan to raise reservation service fees, potentially leading to higher travel costs. Discussions on the fare adjustments are set for the second half of the year, although no clear timeline has been set yet.
