The Taipei City government held a recruitment event primarily focused on the service industry at the Civic Center on the first floor of City Hall, attracting many job seekers. The event offered over 2000 job vacancies from well-known companies such as McDonald's, 7-Eleven, Cosmed, and the upcoming department store opening at the former Eslite site, with the highest monthly salary reaching NT$80,000. Among the jobs available, around 1100 positions are suitable for inexperienced applicants, accounting for about half of the total vacancies, with an average hourly wage of NT$201. Various job opportunities with flexible and diverse working conditions were provided, catering to students, middle-aged part-timers, newcomers to the workforce, and women looking for re-employment opportunities.
