Taipei City's first funeral home held a blessing and thanksgiving ceremony on the morning of June 12, 2024, symbolizing its transition into history. Mayor Jiang Wanan participated and mentioned that with the completion of the second phase of the second funeral home, the first funeral home officially enters history. Regarding the 6000 ping land of the first funeral home, Jiang Wanan stated that evaluations will be made for the long-term development of Taipei City. Various proposals for the land use from medical care to mixed-use spaces have been suggested, and the city government will consider all opinions before deciding.
