Facing challenges to host concerts at the Taipei Dome, the Kuomintang Taipei City Council caucus proposed to the city government to confirm if the Dome is still exempt from building regulations as in 2017. Deputy Mayor Lee Ssu-chuan plans to send a letter to the Ministry of the Interior in early July if no issues arise, aiming to hold concerts in the second half of this year. Mayor Chiang Wan-an mentioned that the city council will discuss the matter next week to understand the ministry's position. Efforts are being made to ensure event safety and improve Dome’s operation.
