In an exclusive report on July 4, 2024, at 10:59 PM, Taipei Labor Bureau revealed the penalty results for violations of the Labor Standards Act in May 113. A total of 80 business entities were penalized, with fines amounting to NT$6.43 million. The highest penalty of NT$700,000 was imposed on Kuo Yun Security Co., Ltd. The Bureau emphasized the importance of upholding labor standards to protect workers' rights and listed the top 5 offenders in fines for May. Violations mainly included failure to pay regular overtime wages, lack of 1 day off per 7-day week, excessive working hours, incomplete attendance records, and partial wage payments.
