A male assistant surveyor in his 40s from the Taipei City Land Administration Bureau was attacked by a swarm of bees while measuring satellite positioning on Neigoushan Trail in Neihu this morning, sustaining multiple stings on his face, neck, and arms. Colleagues promptly sought help, and the man was rushed to Taipei's Zhongxiao Hospital for treatment by emergency responders. Animal control personnel also arrived at the scene to assist, with further investigations pending. The incident highlights heightened bee activity during the hot summer season.
